2024 – Project Manager
MainStay Landscape Inc. seeks a highly motivated and experienced landscape Project Manager to join the Design Build Division. The Project Manager is responsible for directing activities on the job site and is responsible for completing projects with a high level of quality and efficiency. The Project Manager reports to the Division Manager. The job requirements of the Project Manager include, but are not limited to:
● 6+ years industry experience
● Experience with heavy equipment (skid steer, loader, excavator)
● Hoisting License
● Industry certifications
● Hardscape installation experience
● Strong working knowledge of plant material including botanical Latin
● Proficient in reading and interpreting landscape plans
● Monitoring of division tools, equipment, and vehicles for maintenance.
● Responsible for managing and tracking project time and budget through LMN
● Ability to manage a crew and coordinate with on-site contractors
● Ability to effectively communicate with clients through in person meetings, email and phone
● Strong written and verbal communication skills
● Superior attention to detail
● Energetic, highly organized, and driven
Other Duties:
● Prepare tools, equipment, and materials needed for the project with the team
● Ensure all relevant vehicles are properly loaded and stocked
● Help manage any vehicle or equipment issues
● Assist with training for crew members and on safety, equipment operation, quality control, and client expectations
